In recent years, mobile apps have become more popular for checking the weather forecast, especially when there are intense or extreme weather episodes, such as the successive heat waves we are experiencing this summer. However, the results of these forecasts are not the same depending on the App or the phone model, which generates doubts and loss of credibility on the part of users. The article explains, in an informative way, how these apps work, and what a mathematical prediction model means.
